1. Soak your Load in Water
This is one of the easiest and most effective ways to bypass the water level sensor of your washing machine.
When you set a load of laundry on your washing machine, make sure you add some water on your clothes. You usually want to add around 2-4 lbs. of water to your clothes depending on the size of your load. Let this water soak in for a while. Once you feel like the clothes have soaked in all the water, you can start your washer.
Due to the added extra weight of the water, the water level sensor will get tricked into thinking the load is much bigger than it really is. 2. Add Wet Towels to your Load

Traditionally, in most washing machines, the water level sensor we know is nothing more than just a pressure sensing actuator. This actuator can be adjusted if you are willing to do some digging.
Digging in the sense of actually opening up the control panel of your washing machine. This is because, the water level sensor is usually located right at the back of the control panel. So, once you open it up, you will gain access to this sensor.
Before we start adjusting the pressure switch, we need to ensure that the highest water level mark on the washer is below the drain hose. It is important to do so before we proceed any further as the hose would drain all the water away from your washer otherwise.
The switch that we are looking for will be right behind the water level switch. And all you need to do once you gain access to it is to just tighten up the screw. This screw will be factory sealed so you will know which one to look for. Once you tighten up the screw, the disc will move further in. Adjust it depending on your needs. Make it tighter for more water intake.
4. Install a Water Hose
This is one of the safer solutions on how to bypass washing machine water level sensor.
To do this we will first need a splitter, a 6-foot hose, and plastic hose caps. You can buy one of our recommended hoses from here, just in case you don’t already one at home
Once you have acquired all the items, proceed to turn off all water supply to your washing machine, be it hot or cold.
Once that is done, connect the splitter to your preferred water supply. If you like hot water then connect it to the hot one and vice versa for the cold-water supply.
Now, screw the splitter and the water supply ensuring its tightly fixed together.
Upon completion of these steps, connect the wash cycle hose to one of the openings of your splitter. And your 6-foot hose to the third channel of your splitter.

5. Utilizing Bulk Option
Using the bulk option is a fantastic way to wash clothes that have a bit more weight than normal clothing. This option allows for taking in more water than other options.
But most high efficiency washers are too efficient which is why it is best practice to add smaller loads in per wash cycle. If you want to go all in then refrain yourself by adding not more than 15 items per cycle.
This will make sure all your clothes are thoroughly washed without you having to tamper with your washing machine.
6. Check your Washing Machine for Water Level Options
Sometimes we are so busy raging at our good-for-nothing washing machines that we forget that most of these machines also come with some manual water level controls.
Somewhere around the control panel there should be an option to select your desired water level. If you do have one then just select the maximum water level you want. You can also select the option for extra rinse. Both settings work great together.

To do this, you can place the meter probes on the first two terminals, and vice versa for all the available pairs.
If the meter reading is close to 0 then it means there is continuity. But if the meter reading is infinity, then it means there is no continuity. You will get different readings for each pair. If your water level sensor is working correctly, you should get a reading of 2 pairs (no continuity) and the other pair will be continuous.
